Here are the most played games on Xbox Live for the week of July 6th. Halo 3 remains the champion with Call of Duty 5 right behind it.

4 Gears of War 2
5 Battlefield 1943
6 GTA IV
7 FIFA 09
8 Left 4 Dead
9 UFC 2009 Undisputed
10 Fallout 3
Battlefield 1943 also made a strong push to the top 5 followed by GTA IV.
Looks like Halo still cannot be defeated and remains the XBL King.

Xbox Live Infringement Lawsuit

Back in 2004 two men filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Microsoft and Sony. Sony settled the suit earlier this year, but Microsoft has carried on as the sole defendant and the trial began on June 23 of 2009. Talk about a long court proceeding.
The long court process came about from years of discovery proceedings, slowed down by objections over everything from typos to arguments over wording. If the court finds in favor of Hochstein complaint, damages could be awarded for both the Xbox and Xbox 360 console thanks to a separate claim filed to cover the more recently released videogame system.
